The Frankfurt Motor Show 2011 is set to reveal Toyota's unmatched commitment to full hybrid technology with the unveiling of the Prius family, plus new Avensis and Hilux are revealed.
Making its production car European debut is Prius Plug-in Hybrid, offering 23km electric-only driving, full hybrid capabilities, and a full domestic recharge in 1.5 hours. It's joined by the 7-seater Prius+, with lithium-ion technology for maximum MPV-style space; and a world debut for the 4th generation Prius, the most advanced yet. Every Prius family member also boasts new technology, such as Toyota's sophisticated touchscreen multimedia options.
Alongside will be the new Avensis, also making its world debut. This popular car is now more refined, with bolder styling, quality enhancements and a revised grade structure.
Last but not least, the new Hilux will also be on show. This legendary pick-up sees a new design that's both rugged and refined, and increased power to complement its go-anywhere abilities.

Avensis

Making its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2011, the new Toyota Avensis reveals design, quality and efficiency enhancements to this popular D-segment vehicle. More athletic, more elegant, new Avensis features a redesigned exterior with interior upgrades to equipment and trim, including first sight of the new touchscreen Toyota Touch & Go Plus system. Six engines include a newly engineered 2.0 litre D-4D diesel option, and all feature Toyota Optimal Drive for efficiency and performance gains. Safety equipment is exemplary.
Hilux 2012

On view at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2011, Toyota Hilux has been updated for 2012 with a new design, more power and greater convenience. The exterior design blends rugged durability with sophistication, while inside new trim features alongside Toyota Touch, a 6.1" touchscreen multimedia unit. The 2WD 2.5 litre D-4D engine now offers the same output as its 4WD counterpart, while the 4WD 3.0 litre D-4D option offers optimium performance under all circumstances. Hilux 2012 will be available in four grades and a choice of three body shapes.
Prius

The world premiere of the next generation Toyota Prius at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2011 also marks another leap forward for mainstream full hybrid vehicles. Building on its phenomenal global success, the new Prius boasts new exterior and interior design features and a range of advanced multimedia systems. These offer a combination of leading-edge options such as email and digital radio, and signature energy-saving technology such as the JBL Premium Sound System with GreenEdge, which uses up to 80% less power than conventional systems.
Prius+

Prius+, Europe's first full hybrid 7-seater, makes its production car European debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2011. Designed from the ground up, the bold, sleek Prius+ accommodates adults on all three rows. An advanced, compact lithium-ion battery pack, situated between the front seats, avoids compromise on loadspace and maximises versatility. Featuring Hybrid Synergy DriveĀ® and 3 drive modes, Prius+ delivers class-leading economy and CO2 emissions.
