Demonstrating its conviction that full hybrid technology is the key to sustainable mobility in the future, Toyota's display at the Geneva Motor Show 2011 will include full Hybrid Vehicles (HV), Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles (PHV), Electric Vehicles (EV), and Fuel Cell Hybrid Vehicles (FCHV).

Yaris HSD Concept

Making its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2011, Yaris HSD Concept anticipates Toyota's intention to bring Hybrid Synergy Drive to the B segment - Europe's largest - as part of the company's European HSD roll-out.
Yaris HSD Concept boasts a spacious interior and a forward-looking design. Hybrid-specific styling cues range from rear spoiler to metallic paint highlights, with solar-powered air-conditioning. The redesigned HSD powertrain offers further efficiencies for highly competitive fuel consumption and low emissions.

Prius+

Prius+, Europe's first full hybrid seven-seater, makes its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2011. Designed from the ground up, Prius+ provides a third tier of seats and offers the lowest fuel consumption of any seven-seater on the market. Prius+ features bold, sleek styling including the iconic Prius silhouette and panoramic sunroof. The latest HSD technology includes a compact lithium-ion battery pack. Prius+ offers the same 3 modes found on the traditional Prius, including quiet, zero fuel consumption electric-only driving.

Prius Plug-in Hybrid

Prius Plug-in Hybrid represents a significant expansion of Toyota HSD capabilities. It offers a range of around 20 km at speeds of up to 100 km/h in electric-only mode, and its lithium-ion battery recharges from a standard 230 V household outlet in just 1.5 hours. Prius Plug-in Hybrid can also be driven as a conventional full hybrid, eliminating range anxiety. Limited lease projects are currently providing positive feedback, with sales due to begin in the second half of 2012.

Prius

Prius, the world's first mass-produced full hybrid vehicle, has now sold more than 2.1 million units worldwide. Now in its third generation but always ahead of its time, Prius generates significantly lower NOx emissions than any comparable diesel or petrol vehicle, even in normal drive mode. Prius joins the other members of the Prius family – Prius Plug-in Hybrid and new Prius+ – on the Toyota stand at the Geneva Motor Show 2011.

EV prototype

With almost 40 years' experience in electric car development, Toyota presents the company's latest EV prototype as one element of its vision for short range sustainable mobility. Making its European debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2011, the EV prototype integrates an all-electric powertrain within a Toyota iQ package. This combines compact city car agility with zero emissions in a fully electric vehicle for four passengers. Rapid charging and a range of around 105 km* make this an attractive urban proposition.

FT-86 II Concept

FT-86 II Concept previews the next generation of Toyota's rear-wheel drive sports cars. The clearest indication yet of FT-86's final form, this front engine, rear-wheel drive concept perfectly recaptures the exhilarating spirit of the celebrated Toyota Corolla Levin AE 86. It is driver-oriented, designed to give form to the intrinsic joy of driving. Compact muscular bodywork and F1 aeroydnamics are paired with a free-revving petrol engine for lively, accessible performance and maximum driving pleasure.
