Verso-S

Seen for the first time at the Paris Motor Show 2010, Verso-S is the compact car that's remarkably spacious. It has the comfort, space and levels of quality and equipment to rival bigger cars. Yet at under 4m in length, it's highly manoeuvrable and easy to drive.
Headline features for this innovative, class-leading car include the versatile, spacious interior; the ingenious dual-level deckboard; one of the world's largest panoramic sunroofs; and the multimedia Display Audio interface.

Environmental leadership

Toyota's environmental research puts energy diversification at the heart of its plans. This approach sees development on two fronts.
Toyota Optimal Drive already benefits 90% of the line-up, and improves engine efficiency. Secondly, Toyota is convinced that hybrid drive is the core future technology.
Hybrid Synergy Drive® powers the world-famous Prius and now Auris HSD, and is also being adopted for Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles (PHV) such as Prius Plug-in Hybrid, Electric Vehicles (EV) and Fuel Cell Hybrid Vehicles (FCHV).

FT-CH Concept

The Future Compact Hybrid concept (FT-CH) is Toyota's vision of a full hybrid vehicle for the small compact car segment. Demonstrating Toyota's commitment to introduce its full hybrid technology to a much wider customer base, FT-CH incorporates Hybrid Synergy Drive® into a vehicle only 3895 mm long.
This nimble, urban-friendly car is designed for a young audience, with styling inspired by 1980s video games. Yet the innovation and technology that lies behind FT-CH is truly cutting edge.

iQ interior, trim and transmission

Toyota's urban city car, iQ, introduces interior trim changes and a new transmission option.
The premium iQ interior trim introduces some changes in 2010 that increase the perception of quality still further. The Plum colour scheme also has a new alternative - a refreshing Light Grey scheme incorporating high gloss black, leather and red accents.
Finally the 1.33 litre petrol engine is now available with Multidrive S, the advanced automatic transmission with a satisfying sequential, manual 7-speed mode.

Lower CO2 and Aygo Connect

CO2 emissions for Aygo's award-winning 1.0 litre VVT-i petrol engine have now been reduced to just 103 g/km (from 106 g/km). This offers significant tax benefits in some European countries.
2011 may also bring the new Toyota Aygo Connect multimedia system. This multimedia interface uses the 4.3” touch screen of a detachable TomTom navigation system. It incorporates multimedia including radio, CD player, Bluetooth and iPod, AUX and USB outlets, and integrates with Aygo's audio system and your home PC.
