At low speed, or when manoeuvring, the steering feels light and very responsive, giving significant changes of direction with just small movements of the steering wheel. However, at higher speed, the steering gets firmer. This results in a relaxing drive, where minute movements of the steering wheel do not cause the car to move off line. As you slow down, the steering becomes more responsive again.
