Smart Entry & Start System Instead of a conventional key, the Smart Entry & Start System features a transmitter that allows you to unlock the doors by pulling the handle and lock them again by pressing a button. To start or stop the engine, simply press the Start/Stop button. All you need to do is carry the Smart Entry key in your pocket or handbag. |
Rain sensor
Rain sensor The automatic rain sensor instantly sets the appropriate wiper speed and intervals. |
Heated door mirrors |
Rear-view camera
Rear-view camera The system features a sensor valve within each wheel to constantly monitor tyre air pressure. These sensors link with a dashboard indicator that illuminates to warn you if the pressure falls below the recommended level. By doing so, the system contributes to safer driving, better tyre wear and greater fuel efficiency. |
Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection |
Road Sign Assist
Road Sign Assist Toyota Safety Sense's Road Sign Assist monitors the road signs ahead, displaying useful information such as the current speed limit or overtaking restrictions in clear view on the new colour TFT cockpit display. The system also provides a visual and acoustic warning if you are not following the road sign indication. |
Automatic High Beam
Automatic High Beam Toyota Safety Sense's Automatic High Beam is designed to optimise visibility during night driving for all road users. A camera detects the lights of oncoming vehicles and leading traffic whilst also monitoring the brightness of streetlights. It switches automatically between high and low beam for safer night-time driving. |
Full-range Adaptive Cruise Control
Full-range Adaptive Cruise Control Toyota Safety Sense’s Full-Range Adaptive Cruise Control enables the car to maintain a constant speed without the use of the accelerator pedal, keeping a minimum, pre-set distance from the vehicle in front. If this distance falls, the system reduces speed to preserve the distance between the car and the vehicle ahead, applying the brakes and slowing to a stop if necessary. If the distance increases, the car will begin moving accelerating and/or slowing as required, until the traffic flow allows for a return to the pre-selected cruising speed. Please note that this function is only available on vehicles with an automatic transmission. |
Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control (iACC) |
Lane Trace Assist
Lane Trace Assist Using a camera sensor and millimeter wave radar, the Lane Trace Assist system uses either the lane markings on the road ahead or the driving path of the vehicle in front to estimate its position on the road. If the car begins to drift from the centre of the lane unintentionally, steering assist is applied to correct its course. Please note that the system can only be used when Lane Departure Alert as well as Full-range Adaptive Cruise Control are turned on. |
