Follow-me-home headlights

Activated by the driver for added safety and practicality at night, the headlights remain lit for 30 seconds after parking your car to illuminate your path to the front door.

Dusk sensor

The dusk sensor monitors light levels and automatically switches on the headlights when the light is low.

Rear-view camera

The system features a sensor valve within each wheel to constantly monitor tyre air pressure. These sensors link with a dashboard indicator that illuminates to warn you if the pressure falls below the recommended level. By doing so, the system contributes to safer driving, better tyre wear and greater fuel efficiency.

Road Sign Assist

Toyota Safety Sense's Road Sign Assist monitors the road signs ahead, displaying useful information such as the current speed limit or overtaking restrictions in clear view on the new colour TFT cockpit display. The system also provides a visual and acoustic warning if you are not following the road sign indication.

Automatic High Beam

Toyota Safety Sense's Automatic High Beam is designed to optimise visibility during night driving for all road users. A camera detects the lights of oncoming vehicles and leading traffic whilst also monitoring the brightness of streetlights. It switches automatically between high and low beam for safer night-time driving.

Full-range Adaptive Cruise Control

Full Range ACC detects the vehicle ahead and assists the driver by automatically adjusting vehicle speed while maintaining pre-set safety distance. The system operates at all speeds and can bring the vehicle to a full stop in case the preceding vehicle stops. The car restarts upon a slight input on the accelerator pedal or ACC switch. This function is only available on HEV versions.

Adjustable Speed Limiter (ASL)

This function is a control system that suppresses acceleration above a vehicle speed (speed limit) pre-set by the driver. Acting as a guide, it controls engine output so that the vehicle speed does not exceed that of the pre-set speed limit while the driver is pushing on the accelerator pedal. The pre-set speed is shown on the combimeter display and will begin flashing when the vehicle reaches this speed.

Toyota Touch® 2 multimedia system

Toyota Touch® 2 is a fully integrated multimedia system, featuring a colour touch screen with drag and flick capabilities, and advanced audio system compatible with USB devices, iPods and smartphones. Bluetooth® 3.0 enables features such as hands-free calls, SMS integration and music streaming. The WVGA screen is also linked to a rear-view camera for safer reversing.
