Convenience rooted in traditional design.
JPN Taxi is a new fleet of taxis in Japan that are designed for a wide range of passengers—from children to the elderly and even those in wheelchairs. The design seeks to replace the taxis Japan is known for with an updated look and modern features. Painted in the traditional color of koiai (indigo), the taxis look traditional but offer modern amenities.
A universal design.
JPN Taxi was designed with accessibility for a wide range of passengers in mind. It features a stowable wheelchair ramp as well as plenty of passenger space inside. This type of accessible design is crucial to a future of expanded and advanced mobility. And it will be on display for the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020.
