Toyota Italy supports Special Olympics National Winter Games

We see sport as a means to promote social inclusion and create a better world

Employees of Toyota group companies in Italy accompanied the Special Olympics athletes to support them going beyond their limits through sport competition. 

Sport beyond barriers

Our partnership with Special Olympics builds on our Start Your Impossible philosophy: everyone can participate and challenge their limits through sports and mobility. We believe that this spirit will help us realise an inclusive society where everyone is free to move, beyond barriers and discrimination.

Alongside the athletes

Toyota supported the Special Olympics National Winter Games in Italy last month.  Toyota provided a fleet of low-emission hybrid electrified vehicles and over 20 employees of various Toyota group companies in Italy volunteered to accompany the athletes. They had a unique experience taking part in the 5-day event, following the athletes from the start to the finish line and trying their hand at different sports.
