To support the achievement of Toyota’s Environmental Challenge, dedicated life cycle activities within our business in Europe track and influence our progress on carbon neutrality.
Vehicle Life Cycle Assessments
Tracking and improving the environmental impact of our products throughout their full life cycle
Eco-Vehicle Assessment
Our Eco-Vehicle Assessment System (Eco-VAS) evaluates the environmental impact of our vehicles from resource extraction through to production, use, recycling and disposal. Every new-generation vehicle achieves better environmental performance than its predecessor. This Life Cycle Assessment methodology has been reviewed and approved by the independent body TÜV Rheinland and certified to comply with ISO 14040/14044 standards.
