We celebrate the athletes of our Global Team Toyota ahead of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024, emphasising their dedication to excellence, their role as community leaders, and their inspiring journeys both on and off the field.

Team Toyota: driven by purpose

In the countdown to the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024, we are proud to highlight the unwavering determination of Team Toyota Global athletes, and the local communities that support them and demonstrate the ways in which, together, we can achieve the impossible. Working closely with athletes is essential to Toyota, as they reflect the Olympic and Paralympic spirit of pushing boundaries and turning dreams into reality.
“It is an honour to witness how Team Toyota athletes live up to their “Start Your Impossible” mindset and inspire us every single day to do the same. We are excited watching them during the Games.”
said Cedric Borremans, Head of Paris 2024 at Toyota Europe.

Community engagement at the heart

The Olympic and Paralympic Games are not only a showcase of the best of human achievement, but also of the inspiring stories each athlete brings to the start line. No journey is taken alone, and this year, our Start Your Impossible campaign sheds light on the heroes behind the athlete’s success: the coaches, teammates, parents, and fans that shape them. A close-knit community provides emotional support, encouragement, and motivation, contributing to an athlete’s confidence and drive.
“Listen to yourself. Listen to your dreams and do it with your heart. Use your mind and your soul to relate to others on your way, because in the end, it’s all about the people. ”
said Birgit Lovise R. Skarstein,Norwegian Paralympic athlete

A shared vision of resilience

Through this campaign, we want to ignite the spark of endless possibilities that reside within communities all over the globe. It’s this respect for local communities and long-standing commitment to sports that is reflected in our support of nearly 300 Olympic and Paralympic athletes around the globe, on their journey to qualify and compete in the Paris 2024 Games.
“If you think that you can achieve something – do it! Find the right people that can help you to where you want to go. It takes a team to achieve a dream.”
said Damian George Warner, Canadian track and field athlete.
