Towing

Toyota Euro Care will arrange for the vehicle to be taken to the nearest authorised Toyota repairer. If the vehicle needs to be kept in safe storage overnight whilst awaiting recovery, Toyota Euro Care will organise and pay for the cost of this storage up to a maximum value of 74 €. The assistance company will also arrange to transport any trailer or caravan (standard 50 mm tow ball) being towed by the affected vehicle to the same authorised Toyota repairer.

Messages & advice

Whatever the problem, car theft, lost credit cards, illness, in need of legal or general advice, the team at Toyota Euro Care is on hand to give advice or to pass on a message to someone who needs to be informed.

Toyota Euro Care can certainly help to find a solution but may not be able to cover the costs associated with the solution offered. Should the breakdown occur more than 50 km far from the principal user’s home:

Collection of the remobilised vehicle

If the remobilised vehicle must be collected from a authorised Toyota repairer which is located more than 50 km far from the user’s domicile, then at the request of the user, Toyota Eurocare will arrange and pay for one-way first class rail transport for one person to where the car has been remobilised. In the event that the train journey exceeds 6 hours, a business class air ticket will be provided as an alternative.

Should the breakdown occur more than 50 km far from the principal user’s home address and the authorised Toyota repairer be unable to remobilise the car within the same day, then the driver and passengers may select one of the following benefits:

Hotel

Should the user wish to remain in the vicinity of the vehicle whilst it is being remobilised, Toyota Eurocare will arrange and pay for hotel accommodation for the user and passengers up to a maximum of four nights and to a value of 112 € per person per night subject to local availability. Meals and other consequential costs are the responsibility of the user and passengers.

Onward travel

Toyota Euro Care will arrange and pay for first class rail transport for the driver and passengers, which enables them to continue their journey to the original destination in the covered territory or to return to the user’s normal place of residence (country of registration of the vehicle). In the event that the train journey exceeds 6 hours, business class air tickets will be provided.

Chauffeur

If all the drivers travelling in the covered vehicle are taken ill and the journey cannot be continued, Toyota Euro Care will provide a chauffeur at its own expense. The chauffeur will assist the remaining passengers to continue to the user’s domicile or to continue the journey to the original destination in the covered territory. All ancillary costs other than the provision of the chauffeur must be borne by the user.

Replacement vehicle

If the user prefers to have the use of a replacement vehicle, Toyota Euro Care will provide a replacement vehicle of a similar category for the duration of the repairs and limited to a maximum period of three days. Whilst every effort will be made to provide an equivalent vehicle, no liability can be accepted for problems which arise as a result of restricted local availability or the failure of a hire company or other body to supply a vehicle to the user. All ancillary costs other than the hire charge costs must be borne by the user.
