Toyota’s Feeling the Street returns for 2016

After the success of 2015’s inaugural competition, we’re excited to announce Feeling the Street 2016 – Toyota’s hunt for the ultimate street band and our celebration of the musicians who perform on the roads our cars call home, making them a better place for all who travel along them.

How Feeling the Street works

Uniting individuals, musical influences and cultures worldwide, our virtual street corner is home to all the artists’ performances and the hub where you can place your votes. There are three phases to the competition:

Street artists have six weeks to enter and showcase their musical talent through videos uploaded to our virtual street corner. The public can vote for their favourite.

When voting closes the top 40 artists will be revealed. The public will then have a further two weeks to vote based on the artist’s encore videos: which will either be them performing another track or sharing more details about themselves.

The winning six entrants will be announced, form a band and embark on the roadtrip of a lifetime around Australia accompanied by six lucky fans-turned-roadies.
